Giving Festival 2025 brought Nigeria’s generosity community together in Bariga, Lagos, to support 1,500 beneficiaries with food, healthcare, clothing, educational materials, and other essential needs. Organized by Giving Tuesday Nigeria and Do Good Charity Initiative, the festival celebrated the power of collective giving and community action.

Parkinson’s Africa and the Adewunmi Desalu Parkinson’s Foundation hosted the 3rd Annual Walking Football Parkinson’s Disease Tournament in Lagos, bringing together over 600 participants to promote awareness, challenge stigma, and strengthen support for people living with Parkinson’s disease. With 16 teams competing and inspiring performances from Parkinson’s warriors and caregivers, WFPD 2025 celebrated resilience, inclusion, mobility, and the power of community.

The Adewunmi Desalu Parkinson’s Foundation hosted MOVE4PD 2025, bringing together over 200 Parkinson’s warriors, caregivers, advocates, medical professionals, and supporters for a 2km awareness walk in Lagos. Under the theme “Stride with Strength,” the event promoted Parkinson’s awareness, physical activity, better care, and community support while celebrating the resilience of people living with Parkinson’s disease.

Sterling One Foundation, alongside the Federal Ministry of Budget & Economic Planning and the United Nations Nigeria, hosted the fourth Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS 4.0) in Lagos. Bringing together over 2,500 changemakers and leaders, the summit focused on climate resilience, policy innovation, health, education, and economic equality, while driving bold solutions, partnerships, and action toward sustainable development across Africa.

Healthtracka hosted the second Banking on Women’s Health Conference in Lagos, bringing together women, healthcare professionals, changemakers, and advocates to advance better health outcomes for women in Nigeria. The conference featured expert discussions, the launch of the State of Women’s Health Report 2025, and the Banking on Women’s Health Innovation Awards, highlighting the urgent need for data-driven solutions, stronger policies, and greater investment in women’s health.

The Irede Foundation hosted its annual Out On A Limb 2025 walk across more than 20 states, bringing together supporters to champion disability inclusion under the theme “Full Access, No Cap!” The event amplified the voices of people living without limbs, highlighted the need to break barriers to inclusion, and supported the foundation’s goal of providing prosthetic limbs and psychosocial support to 200 children.
